MEET THE DIRECTOR
Daniel McMichael is a 20-year-old director from Columbus, GA.

After founding New Inklings in 2025, he wrote and directed his first short film and has spent the past year working as a gaffer, grip, and electrician in independent films. Some of his credits as gaffer include the short films "Emmie's Banquet," "Superman: The American God Myth," and "The Whitcher Miracle."

His favorite stories to tell are either slow, thoughtful period pieces or absurd laugh-out-loud comedies.
